The SmallRig 5227 V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit is a lightweight, all-in-one power and mounting system designed to keep your setup streamlined and efficient. It combines a V-mount battery plate, Arca-Swiss quick release plate, and an LCD screen protector into one practical kit for fast-paced shooting.
Fast, Flexible Mounting
Thanks to the built-in Arca-Swiss quick release mechanism, the battery plate attaches quickly and securely to compatible camera rigs. Tool-free locking and adjustment make setup simple, while the adjustable base plate works with most Arca-Swiss plates on the market. It also supports direct mounting to cages and L-shaped grips with integrated Arca-Swiss interfaces.
The retractable base design helps the plate fit a variety of mirrorless camera sizes, giving you more flexibility when building a compact rig.
Integrated Power for Multiple Devices
Strategically placed D-Tap and USB-C outputs let you power several devices at the same time without getting in the way of camera or grip operation. The USB-C ports support up to 65W PD input, so the plate can also serve as a V-mount battery charger.

Adjustable LCD Screen Protection
The modular LCD screen protector is designed to fit most mirrorless cameras with a flip screen. It can be adjusted in both height and width without tools, helping shield your display from bumps while keeping it easy to access and use.
Versatile 180° Rotating Design
The V-mount plate rotates through three practical positions: 0° for compact storage, 90° for low-profile mounting, and 180° for easy LCD screen access. A stainless-steel gear locking system provides a solid, stable hold, while the damping system helps prevent the battery from dropping during rotation.
A safety lever on the battery release button adds extra protection against accidental detachment, giving you more confidence during production.
Organized Cable Management
To keep your rig neat and reduce the chance of snags, the kit includes cable clamps and an elastic Velcro strap. Multiple mounting points on the plate allow for customized cable routing and cleaner builds.
Accessory Mounting Options
With several 1/4"-20 threaded and locating holes, the plate also supports a range of optional accessories such as magic arms for wireless transmitters and other professional rigging solutions.
