Novoflex BALPRO 1 Universal Bellows Device Overview

The Novoflex BALPRO 1 Universal Bellows device is a versatile tool that works well with most medium format cameras with dimensions 6x7 cm and smaller, supporting both focal-plane shutters and 35mm system cameras (digital or film)

However, it's worth noting that with the exception of the Canon EOS system, using this bellows system will require the addition of 2-4 adapters. Medium format camera systems need one adapter to link the lens to the bellows, and another to connect the bellows to the camera. On the other hand, for 35-mm camera-based systems (except Canon EOS), you would require 4 pieces; the APRO & PROLEI adapters, a lens-to-bellows adapter, and a bellows-to-camera adapter. Distinctly, the Canon EOS system needs three extra pieces but also maintains the unique feature of preserving all diaphragm communication between the camera and lens.

Thanks to its comprehensive adapter system, this tool allows the combination of various lens and camera systems. Not only can you incorporate most medium format lenses but also, nearly all KB lenses or special lenses with camera bodies of any size up to 6x7 format are compatible. Moreover, Novoflex offers up to three large format type lenses that enable infinite focus.

The BALPRO1 comes equipped with a long Arca-style quick release. This conveniently fits into any Arca-type quick release mechanism containing three 1/4-20"& 3/8"-16 threaded screws.
