The fast T2.9 aperture, combined with 13 iris blades and a 14-element, 9-group optical design, helps produce smooth, rounded bokeh and keeps focus breathing to a minimum. A cinema-style 0.8 MOD gear system supports precise control over focus and aperture, making the lens easy to use in both stills and video work.
With a 270° focus throw, the lens offers excellent accuracy when fine-tuning focus. Distance markings in both meters and feet improve usability, while the 82mm filter thread gives you room to add filters for greater creative control. A built-in tripod mount also adds stability during shooting.
